The Hybrid Architecture Symbolic Parser and Neural Lexicon (HASPNeL) is a computational linguistics research project that focuses on resolving natural language ambiguity and grammaticality (i.e., any utterance that is naturally produced by human speakers, not only prescriptivist ones) within computational models. Our challenge is to create a biologically plausible computational model of the human language (i.e., a model that can process natural languages with ease, like humans do).
